Skiing at the foot of the Marmolada

Perfectly integrated into the Dolomiti SuperSki carousel are Marmolada and Rocca Pietore, which are linked with the finest ski runs in the Dolomites; over the Padon Pass, you can reach Arabba on skis, from where you can then venture onto the lengthy Sella Ronda circuit.

Skiers really are spoilt for choice at the foot of the Marmolada, and the queen of the Dolomites is also home to a glacier that is permanently covered with snow, perfect for ski mountaineering fans even towards the end of the season.

The snow of the Marmolada also offers a host of thrills for cross-country skiers, thanks to a 7.5 km trail, and here it is also possible to have a go at telemark and snowboarding.

Rocca Pietore offers plenty of services for snow fans, with ski schools offering courses for children and adults, from beginners up, equipment hire facilities and fun kinderheim for the youngest visitors, who can have a great time in complete safety.
